Do you offer Christian-based therapy at your practice?
Yes, at our practice, we offer Christian-based therapy that integrates faith and biblical principles into the counseling process. Our therapists are experienced in providing counseling from a Christian perspective.
What types of insurance do you accept?
We accept: BCBS of NC, BCBS from most states, Aetna, MedCost, Optum/United, Tri-Care (April Morris), Self Pay, Church Sponsored, Medicaid, and Medicare.
How can I verify if my insurance covers therapy at your practice?
Provide us with your insurance information and we will verify coverage for you to the extent your carrier provides information. It is ultimately your responsibility to know what your plan covers and we will help you as much as we can!
Are your therapists licensed and experienced?
Yes, all of our therapists are licensed mental health professionals with experience in providing counseling services. We also have practicum students and interns who feel called to the Christian Counseling field.
Do I have to be a Christian to receive therapy?
No! Jesus loves you! If you do not want Christian therapy, let your therapist know. We will not ask you to violate your conscience. Our services are open to individuals of all faith backgrounds.
How do you integrate Christian faith into therapy sessions?
Our therapists integrate Christian faith by incorporating biblical principles, prayer, scripture, and discussions about faith and spirituality based on the client's preferences and comfort level. We respect each client's beliefs and tailor our approach accordingly.
What mental health issues do you provide therapy for?
Our therapists address a wide range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, relationship issues, grief, stress management, and more.
How many therapy sessions are typically covered by insurance?
The number of therapy sessions covered varies depending on your specific insurance plan. Some plans may cover a certain number of sessions per year, while others may require pre-authorization. We can help you understand your insurance coverage.
How can I schedule an appointment?
Text or call us to schedule an appointment. We will assist you in setting up an appointment with one of our therapists at a time that is convenient for you.
Why so many forms?
We are required to show informed consent on our process and policies. The Professional Disclosure Statement requires your signature prior to being treated. Completing your Intake Forms gives your therapist the necessary information needed to begin treatment.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
For a single session appointment, there is no fee to cancel if you do so within 24 business hours of the appointment. If you cancel within that window, you will be charged the full fee for the service. We take into account illness and other circumstances which you will need to discuss with your therapist.
Do you have a Statement of Faith?
We provide therapy that is clinically sound and Biblically supported. We believe in the Trinity, the Bible as God's inspired Word, that every person is made in the image of God, and that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman. Our therapy integrates these principles while respecting each client's journey.
